maybe just maybe he would want to come to prove something ....he has won the league whereever he has been (Spain and France) - maybe he wants to give the Prem a go....

Maybe he fancies finishing his career at the top of the game with the manager and sporting director that helped him start

of course the romantic side of him may also fancy a return to barca

WHen you have someone a good as him you dont carry him.......he carries the team just by his presence esp when you have a tactician like pep.....

teams would be absolutely terrified of attacking us and potentially leaving him any space at all to work in....every team would be on the back foot before the game even started....Messi,foden with rodri behind them along with KDB - the techincal levels are beyond comparrison...teams wouldnt be able to get the ball off them

Mark messi out of the game - you leave Haaland/foden/kdb/grealish or someone else a hell of a lot of space
 
It's not going to happen. He's going to go back to Barca and probably end up being given lifetime chairman as his payment.

If it was possible though then the club would rightly move mountains to get it done.
