Yes, but he's either at (being generous) or past his peak. As such doesn't fit our recruitment strategy of identifying the best young talent as an appreciating asset.
Much more suited to selling shirts on a five year £1m per week contract at Trafford United.
He’s past his peak without doubt. He’d also be *one of* the most dangerous attacking players in the country without doubt.

It might not be a typical signing of more recent times, but Pep/Txiki/Ferran may be persuaded to break type for Leo, and he offers a great technical skillset and threat on goal. He certainly wouldn’t be here just to sell shirts. Neither would that be the case if he went down by the quayside, although if any team is built to get the best out of him it is us.

I don’t know, rumours all over the place really. It seems like he’s definitely leaving Paris and honestly the idea of Barcelona affording him is laughable. He doesn’t want to retire and is still way too good to be put out to pasture in Miami.

I imagine he’ll be sounding out a few PL clubs.

I think he just wants out of Paris and obviously his first choice will be going back ‘home’ to Barca. That said, though, they might not be able to make it happen (99% certain).

Next option after that? America? Like you said, too good. Argentina? He’s said no to that in the past I think. Saudi? Too good for there.

I genuinely think a reunion with Pep along with a plan of playing here for a few years then a clear pathway to America if he wants it has to be enticing to him? Surely?! It’s all whether we want to offer that again 2/3 years on from the burofax debacle.

Personally I hope the club is desperate for a commercial opportunity enough to pursue it. Pep has downplayed it in the past but if he’s offered it, no chance he says no.
