I wouldn't support an old player who never considered us worth joining when he was in his prime. If we were too small a club for him then, he better keep joining the big clubs only.

What, because he stayed at Barça until they wanted to sell? Or because he accepted PSG’s contract? You can only accept one at a time.

You are right, I can't blame him for choosing to stay at Barca or going to Paris, I just wouldn't like City to be a retirement place for legendary players when they get old. I want us to sign players who are young and exceptional and really want to play for the club. If Messi signs tomorrow and he says some PR bullshit that he's proud to join this big club I wouldn't believe him one iota but if someone like Haaland or Bellingham say the same thing, I believe them because I know they have options and they choose to dedicate some of their best years to this club.

Yup. Go to the Banshee in Dorchester - 934 Dorchester Ave. Great spot and of course, home of the Boston branch of the City Supporters Club. Enjoy the Marathon. Great event.
