He's not leaving Barca guys, cmon now. What indications? Do you have quotes from him, his agent? There are plenty of clubs with "financial & commercial stuff in place"It's a thread because we've made serious attempts to sign him, we've got the financial & commercial stuff in place and we've had indications that he'd come if he felt it was the right thing to do. Of course it's that last bit that's been the problem.
He's 2 years younger than David Silva so if people believe that we can get another 3 years out of Silva then we can get 5 years out of Messi. And, as I've said before, it's essentially a zero-cost deal as he's one of the very few players that has so much commercial pulling power that the money flows in behind him. And I'm not talking about shirt sales.
This is just delusional imo. Did you not see how Pep handled every question about Messi this season?
The only club he's ever indicated he'd leave to (& that's realistic) before his career dwindles down & decides to retire, is Newells, his boyhood club: http://www.espnfc.com/argentina/sto...-return-to-newells-old-boys-before-retirement
Seems fans from English clubs all over are being led on by unreliable journalists who are just taking advantage of these tax scandals. Same shit happened with Cristiano & Man U the other week. Why do people continue on believing this stuff?
