It's bizarre. His release clause is €250m anyway, leaving aside the fact you've stated that we'd get him for nothing in July.

The interesting thing is that in an article Duncan Castles (I know!) did back in August he said that Messi is directly responsible for 20% of Barca's income, which is about €700m. So Messi alone brings in something like €140m to the club.
