If city were to sign Messi the East stand would need another tier let alone the north and south stands. He'll finish his career at the nou camp.
 
Sadly of all those unrealistic deals I thought had a chance like dinho,kaka....Wagner love (sniff) this one is obviously the Most far fetched imaginable ever. He loves barca and will never leave while he's at the top of his game. At best he will use our interest to poke the fire and get a very good deal out of barca with his next contract. It's a lovely idea and every club dreams of messi rolling up to sign but this is one player that just won't ever happen IMO, whatever is going on with tax issues or not feeling loved will soon go away when they offer him a great deal

Don't discount it this has been doing the rounds for a while now and I have been told we are going to spend big in January but have been told no names
 
Id love messi at city but I might have to quit bluemoon if it happened - I'm not sure id cope with the threads calling him rubbish when he fails to score 3 in his first game. Is this the kind of transfer that's gonna play out like Ronaldo's to virus fc or could it be done quietly?

Messi in a January deal ? Big ask of any half decent player as they'd be cup tied like jo
