Impossible for me to see us breaking our wage structure to accommodate Messi. Shit would go tits up.
This is the biggest and most difficult aspect of this story.
However...this is Messi we're talking about and we were willing to do it for Mbappe.
The players know they've bottled it season after season in CL and surely know the window for some will not be forever.
KDB is in his prime years and won't want to waste time. However he did not sign that contract he was rumoured to in the spring. He's the player I'd be most worried about. Sterling is the other but I don't think there will be those ready to pay so much and RM will likely not be calling just yet.
Can you convince Kev and the other players or will it be another Pogba/Sanchez effect?
