How many of our current squad could grumble if he came in on massive wages and scored a hatful though, I mean seriously? I can think of one player, maybe two max, and as TH has hinted previously, we would find ways to make sure those two weren’t left “poorly off”.
When it comes to Messi, I think all this talk of wage structure worry goes out of the window.
