Have you got a stiff neck?
of course I have ;-)
Have you got a stiff neck?
Excellent! If Messi rolled up at the etihad I would gladly give you £100 Theo
No definate time,it said the coming daysWhen is Messi supposed to be making a statement, what time? Still get a feeling he will do a u turn.
Mahrez is the only player I could sacrifice for this deal to happen. We don’t have a young and hungry striker if we ship out Jesus, only Agüero who could perform another 2-3 years tops. Bernardo is a special special player and I would never let him go.
If the club let go of any of Jesus or Bernardo, I would be so pissed. And honestly I don’t care if it’s Messi. We have to think about the future as well.
Of course they do. He’s contracted. His leave clause has gone. They can take it to court, drag it on, neither Messi plays nor do city have a sniff of were even interested.Barca have zero bargaining power here, they have to let him leave now and any fee will be as a sweetener on our part. we’re not about to allow key players to leave, they can demand whoever they want but doesn’t mean it’s happening, we turn around and say he’s not for sale they’re not exactly going to pull the plug on it are they?
They need to try and make the best of a terrible situation so you can understand them asking for players like Bernardo and Jesus but we’re not mugs, we’ll only entertain players that are expendable and given the praise Pep continually heaps on Jesus he is not expendable.
One of the reasons Messi wants out of Barca is because he’s sick of carrying a poor side, if he’s leaving he simply has to win big at his next club, there’s no alternative, he isn’t going to want to see us sacrifice key players that could jeopardise that happening to bring him here.
But we don't need to give him up! We are in a position of power here.I can’t believe we are seriously debating wether we should swap Jesus for Messi or not.
Whilst I accept it leaves is a little light up front. Who would you trust at money time?!
How negative have the press been towards Pep since he’s been here. He’s been the easiest scapegoat for anything at Barcelona. He spoke about this once. Can’t remember when.
Nah. Just about the marketing ain’t it @Marvin

I'll probably get slammed but I really don't want Jesus to be part of the deal. He's such a unique forward and probably the type of striker who Messi would love playing with.
I could just about understand Firminho but not Lingard
slammed? Anyone who thinks that he is worth sacrificing is deluded at best.... he gets sold and we replicate the same problem Barça have had for 18 months, inability to press from the top.... fucking ludicrous, regardless of who we get in exchange!
There had better not be any truth in this:
just thinking that with Foden to learn from, Messi could get even better :)
