In a way when he leaves Barcelona I will feel a bit sad- the Pep Barcelona team was the most inspiring/technically gifted team I've ever seen, and that's why we love Football. It would be like Kompany leaving us. The man is Barcelona through and through. The pictures of the little kids over recent days kind of reminds me when we lost Shaun Wright Phillips and most recently David Silva, or the day we got relegated at the Britannia Stadium on Kinkladze's farewell. That's football and all those bad days look completely worth it now.

He's brought alot of joy to many of those fans and it's going to be quite sad to see him end the marriage with Barcelona. But for selfish reasons, I'd be ecstatic to see him join City and take us to another level. Just to watch that little genius in the flesh in a blue shirt would be incredible. I'll die a happy man regardless.

Messi will always be a Barcelona man like Kompany is a City man. If he does sign for us it will be an emotional day to see a Messi Pep bromance again. This club has come so far and I'm so proud of what we have achieved that the World's best Footballer is even considering coming to play football in Manchester.

I don't normally buy shirts with players names on the back, but if we did sign him im getting all 3 kits with his name on the back. I'll even get the cat a Messi Jacket. The Man is why we love football. The God of Football.
