No it doesn’t. They need to DEFINE what steps need to be taken i.e. They need to MAKE A DECISION on what to do next.
But they can’t define the steps till the know their decision?

If it doesn’t contradict itself at the very least the order is wrong.

IF Messi refuses to change his mind, he will leave Barca. The worst option would be, he stops playing football.

It all comes into play fully if & when he leaves either with Barca's agreement or starts a FIFA/ court procedure.

If El Presidente stops being a dick about it, they may come to an agreement, which may, then involve us.
Is he really being a dick about it? Lionel Messi isn't Leroy Sane. He's the biggest Footballer around. I can't criticise the man for not wanting his biggest asset on and off the pitch to leave. He's doing what every owner would do if they had Messi.

It is coming across as desperate, but if you loved a woman and she said she wants to break off the marriage because of the way you've been with her for the last 3 years, you'd fight to keep her to make it right. That's all that Bartameu is doing, and he's well within his right to do so.

The best we can hope for is Messi not making a decision and dragging this out even longer- maybe another 2-3 weeks without this going to the courts. If he does that Bartameu may have to accept that Messi will not change his mind and negotiate a fee.

this good or bad Ahsan? lol

I think it is a more realistic assessment of where we are at.

The exit will have to be stage managed. The starting positions were too combative and everyone needed to dial their attitudes back a little bit. Part of that requires both sides to look like they're considering the position of the other. Which I think is where we are.

Does, anyone think Messi is playing us

Well, possibly BUT no one has actually said anything really have they?

He's only playing us if you base that on stories that no one has actually confirmed have happened.

We're creating the agenda, the media are creating their agenda. Meanwhile at the moment the only things we know are that he's not been at training, said he wants to leave and what his dad had for lunch.

That's literally it. Everything else - including 2104 pages of it on here are literally about nothing.

FWIW - I think it's all brinksmanship and he's not going anywhere.

You don't go about keeping your wife by the footballing equivalent of telling her she can't have a divorce and to go and put the fucking tea on.

They can't dance around each other forever.

Messi has to either accept his old terms or negotiate new terms with barcelona or formally state that he is no longer regards himself as an employee of Barcelona. Then City are free to make an offer, as are other clubs. Any subsequent transfer then goes through FIFA's arbitration panel (for the transfer certificate).

Barcelona may relent and accept much reduced terms if they see that Messi is following through with his wish to leave.

'We' have to keep a distance too otherwise we can be accused of enticing Messi to break his contract. At the moment this is a breakdown in relations with club and player which is either approaching a resolution or final breakdown.

Do you have any evidence that he’s not a Barca player any more? His team can claim that as their starting position, but it doesn’t mean it’s true.
It's all politics my friend. Everything has always been done. It's all a charade. Everything behind the scenes has been done and that I'm sure of. This is the same with all the transfers. The reporting only comes from a political or propaganda standpoint. This is why what we hear in the world through the news isn't actually what it truly is. Let's wake up to this fact.
