the news at the moment is that barca have released umtiti and pjanic, i dont know if it was mutual or if they paid termination fees, but it seems like barca are starting to reduce the wage bill a lot

It seems Barcelona are an an epic bag of grasping shit.

Utterly incompetent. They deserve to go to the wall.

I personally don't believe Messi is a greedy twat, he has been arguably the best player in the world, and brought the massive sponsorships to Barcelona, so I believe he has worked for, and deserves his slice of the pie.

Compare him to Haaland, who himself has burst on the scene, not really proven himself for any length of time yet, and he's asking for something comparable, but cannot demand the greatness of Messi.

I would have loved Messi at City years ago, that didn't happen, but I would still welcome him now, not only because of the increased sponsorship that we could demand, but he still shows he has got it, so would be an asset to out team. Also what could Foden learn under Messi for a couple of seasons, and what about the incensed piss boiling there would be from all fronts. I would welcome him to City.

Is it a smart idea to sell everyone else to keep 1 player, when that player wanted you to prove to him you would remain competative?
"Hey Leo, we can afford you now!... Well, erm, it's just you, aguero and Garica now. And sorry but Koeman has to stay as well."

Rock and a hard place for barca

If Messi were to re-sign for Barcelona, he would presumably have to do a medical. That would be weird.
