Tevez does it in the Prem. Messi is in poncey soft tacklng, Vauxhall Conference defending La Liga. I'd like to see Messi go to Stoke on a cold, windy and rainy Wednesday evening and do what he does in the basking Catalan sunshine. Wouldn't happen.

As for the people talking about us signing Messi, do we really want/need him?

Our team is set up perfectly with 3 defensive midfielders in order to nick goals and keep clean sheets. Messi would not fit this system, he'd be more of a hindrance than a help.

I think some of you have got the wrong end of the stick here. I simply believe that the Prem is by far the strongest and most physically demanding league in the world and not all players are equiped to succeed in it, nor are all good players necessarily suited for our system.

Okay, I admit I am using exaggeration to help make a point as well as to be slightly amusing, but my point remains, and I believe it is a valid one.
