Lionel Messi

Thats why Ronaldo is the best in the world.

Messi is good at barca, send him anywhere else and he wont be anywhere neer that good. Ronaldo has proven himself at more than 1 club and for portugal.
Ronaldo > Messi

???

So his loyalty is detrimental to his rating as a player?!

And Ronaldo has hardly been in a team of no-marks, even in Portugal he was in a top 4 side.

Ronaldo is a player who's game is based around pace. A great player, but will wane when he loses a yard. Messi is just has another string to his bow because of his pace, but his foot work, first touch and eye for a pass is second to none.

Messi is the best player on the planet.

Disagree, when Ronaldo loses his pace... won't be till he is at least 30 he is built like a machine and without a doubt is so much more durable than messi, and even when he does he will still be a quality target man striker - gerat shot, good in the air, good with both feet.

If messi loses his turn of pace he is truly fucked

Talking shit, Messi hardly ever relys on his pace what makes him such a special player is his ability to make the ball seem like its glued to his foot. He can change direction so fast with the ball you see him surrounded by 5 players and he plays his way out of it.

And as for this durable thing Messi is one tough little fucker, a lot tougher than Ronaldo. Ronaldo gets kicked he dives and rolls around like a tit when Messi gets kicked he just gets up no moaning and does a quick free kick or gets back into position that why I feel he could handle the Premier league cos he can take a kicking.

Lol, Messi has an incredible turn of pace - that is why he beats men so easily.

And thats not what I mean about durability - Ronaldo is built to last and has so few injuries Messi on the other hand is not.

Love watchin this lad... Hope he tries his talents out in the PL when his still around his peak

na, a) Messi is so slight like SWP he'll go on for years, and will get the best medical treatment at Barca. b) even if he did he would be moved into an Iniesta, Xavi-esque role, his dribbling and passing is already there and with 6/7 years more experience I think he would manage it.

Besides he rarely goes at full throttle anyway, he doesn't need to.
