Spike, two things, why don't you get yourself a facebook page and secondly why not charge £300,the extra quid goes to a raffle drawn on the plane - the winner either gets the trip for free or gets to shag their favorite air stewardess? - martin

The stewardess option would be no use to you Martin, the state you get into on away trips.

What about tickets for this one ? How many do you think we will get ? Mixed Zone on sale on the day like Villareal ?
tickets wont be a problem mate, we should get 2,500. and we wont take that many

Plus the fact their ground was half empty last night.
Would not see a problem getting in even if we sold 2500.
Which we should if Stoke can take 4500/5000 to Valencia.

Difference is Stoke may never play a big team like Valencia again.

Re: Sporting Lisbon v Man City 1 night stopover

Yeppppp, I am now booked on this one. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and Lisbon sounds great. Lots of sightseeing for me. Vintage tram ride to St George's Castle and the hop on-hop off sightseeing bus. Then the mighty Blues!! Bring it on.

Re: Sporting Lisbon v Man City 1 night stopover

On this and looking forward to another epic "Spike trip"

Well worth it as a hassle free trip. Spike the chaps always look after you and understand what we want .......... ie the timing of the flights = full day & night in Lisbon on the piss with the match in between - then a full morning to recover ( and maybe a "hair of the dog" ) before flying back.

Some of our other lads doing a DIY trip - Manchester - Gatwick - Porto - Lisbon .... crazy

It might save £30 or £40, but they are travelling for about 12 hours each way ..... crazy.
