Dominic Solanke looks like your first signing and for just £3m. That could turn out to be the bargain of the century, cos he was sensationally good a couple of years ago against us at U18 level. Tall, quick and plays with his head up. I would expect Sturridge to be shown the door as a consequence

At youth level he was sensational, a proper predator in front of goal with decent technical ability to boot.

Having watched him in the first 3 games of the U20 World Cup recently though I can't quite help feeling he looks a player that has stagnated, so I hope he can get regular game time at Liverpool and start his career for good because the lad looks a proper talent.

It is odd, that as a society, we do not commemorate this like we do Hillsborough or indeed other football tragedies. Surely those 39 people deserve the same respect?

For me all the victims of these tragedies deserve to be remembered. Sadly it is only those tragedies that are cynically used and exploited by their respective fanbases and clubs to garner sympathy and support that are remembered and the rest are swept conveniently under the carpet.

Clichy would be an odd signing, but as long as he doesn't follow Milner's lead then no problems with him signing for Liverpool.
