Liverpool (A) PL - Post Game

The league is done. No chance of clawing 11 points with the current line up. We have clearly not assessed the squad we have, not removed the players not good enough or outlived their usefulness and replaced them with players of equal or better standard. Who carries the can for that. Pep? Txiki? Our scouting network or the combination of all 3? Or is the poor recruitment down to the effects of the FFP, PSR, APT rulings brought in at the behest of the red cartel.
Not sure about that. I agree that we probs not gonna win the league this yr, but lookin forward, if we beat the dips at home, that’s down to 8, if they lose a couple more it’s all to play for. That doesn’t take account of arsenal though, they look strong. But, u never know.

At least we looked more like the team we know, moved the ball well and for 30 minutes in the 2nd half we were bang in the game.
Only because they sat back conserving energy and defending half-arsed, because they knew we are totally harmless. And they were waiting for a moment when one of our players decides to self destruct, which duly arrived.

This team and the season is gone now and where Pep and the City machine goes from here with a new DOF and Pep's relatively short stay is anybody guess.

Lewis has been shat on by the rest of the squad this season. Every game he has played. Every fucking game here there and everywhere.

How some get on his case makes me vom.
Rico is the very least of our problems, Foden hiding and doing nothing, one season wonder Phillip?

We showed plenty of fight in that performance especially after their start and we did manage to cope what Liverpool had to offer.
We didn't we passed it around alot Liverpool just sat back we could probably still be playing another week and we wouldn't score against them
