Well i don't think we should hide for anyone in relation to this one fixture. That's our problem at City. Too much cowering behind fears of Liverpool at Anfield. It reaches the players and management. The management have bought into the fear. Big difference between fear and respect. Today this was all too evident by the tactics particularly after they scored. Caution can work in a difficult situation but when you are losing something else has to be done. Pep doesn't react quickly and bravely so he doesnt change things up. His stubborn attitude can be indicative of fear. How many times did we hear that they were there for the taking.

To not score against a defence like that is criminal, and tbqh we could've been playing until midnight and I don't think we'd have managed it

It had that feel didn't it? Especially when we went 1-0 down it felt like "well that's that". Normally when we go behind we get a kick up the bollocks and look inevitable we'll score, But not today.

Why are people saying it was ”tactics” for Foden to never challenge Milner? Doesn’t make any sense so what kind of bullshit is that? He clearly didn’t feel confident. I’ve never seen Foden so cautious before.

In that 2nd half Liverpool had 6 times either a 1-1 on keeper or 3-1 on defense. Thank god they couldn't finish today.

It upsets me that Pep has this blindspot for certain big games, it just shouldn’t happen.

I‘d love to understand why he’s done that today, he’s without doubt the greatest manager in the world yet once again he’s overthought a game and changed system when we should just go toe to toe using our usual personnel and formation.

Going off league position it would be akin to losing against any other team. It's not the loss it's the fact we can't seem to gain enough bottle to beat these fuckers at Anfield. You can win the league losing a few games but you won't ever win the CL if you can't get over this hurdle.

Phil? Sorry mate but he was Mahrez light today. Playing against Milner and Gomez he shat out of it. They were there for taking on and he turned inside EVERY time. Sadly the Liverpool kryptonite has infected the younger players as well as Pep.
