Thought they were there for the taking from the off, didn't mind the back 3 in the first half but it showed second half we don't play that way as it took any flow we usually have out of the game. De Bruyne was lost not being able to dictate the flow of the game, Foden was to deep to get at Milner, and Bernardo looked lost for the first 40 minutes. Cancelo had a shocker his mistake for the goal summed his day up. Walker is miles ahead of him in the big games today showed that. We gave up to many chances on the counter second half, eventually one would get us. For me that result is on Pep paying them to much respect from kick off with our line up. Not knocking Pep but feel he over thought that one.

We still had chances, Haaland had three decent one's, and for me with the way Taylor refereed the game Foden's goal should've stood after he let everything go first half, didn't realise VAR was there to change the flow of the game but should've known better. Not our day as usual at that dump.

Onto Brighton now, hopefully that kicks us up the ass a bit.

Hard to figure out that display, We looked good in spells of the game, Other parts we were horrible. Alot of it has to fall on Pep as there was absolutely no need to change a winning formula, We are in tremendous form of late and changed our way of playing to accommodate the Dippers. Pep has shown Liverpool far too much respect today!

As for the players, I thought the standout players was Foden and Bernardo both showed bollocks as always in this fixture especially Bernardo! Pity they rest couldn't do the same...

As for VAR...FUCKOFF.
I disagree, foden should have ran Milner into the ground but kept passing backwards and bernado played about 5 passes that were shit under no pressure at all

I get everyone’s frustration but for me the biggest frustration continue to be VAR. I went crazy when we scored I’ve lost my voice.. and then you’re sat feeling like a twat thinking why do I get excited when we score an important goal anymore? The stance of “let’s see if we can find any reason to rule this goal out” is really ruining football for me. I wish they’d use is really sparingly if there is a massive obvious error only.

I would love to see a team/fans for a whole season refuse to celebrate a goal until 30-60 secs after to protest against VAR… literally score, passive reaction, silence, walk to half way line then cheer when it’s given.

It hurts losing to them.

My hatred for them is pathological.

Pep over think's Big games. Over a season the cream rises to the top we win Titles because we are the best Team, and deservedly win the League.

I am resigned to the fact though, we will likely never win the Champions League under Pep, he simply over thinks himself in these types of games. We have seen it with him time, and time again in Europe in the latter stages.

Instead of going with the tried and trusted system, he tries to reinvent the Wheel.

Kind of ironic that what he feared were their counters.

Yet ended up setting us up in such way that resulted in a disjointed team performance, And gave them open runs against our Goal every time.

The 88th minute Sub was the Cherry on the top of a Pep disaster class today.

Week media blackout, we go again CTID

nunez was crap! he fucked 3 vs 1 situations, liverpool should of scored more if it wasnt for that moron
At one point there was a three on one when he was running at our defender, Salah was completely on his own and Nunez held onto the ball and took a shot. If he was one of our players he’d have been slammed.

They really wanted the win more than us....I don't want to lose from that clown (klop) but Pep wasn't able to win the game today, nothing changed in second half as I was expected.... A lesson for the rest of season? We will see....

Trouble is you can say we're soft, but I blame the refs. Teams always get away with it, we don't. You can't allow the game to "flow" if it means you're getting kicked around the park. A foul is a foul, our goal was disallowed for a soft one yet plenty others were let go on both sides. No consistency.
Talyor let the game flow, he also was as much a twat to them as us tbf, if anything and it isn't a suprise blame that **** Darren England on VAR, he did us over a few times last year, Taylor was letting such niggling fouls go by all game and even that one, England has brought it back and left Taylor no choice.

It wasn't clear and obviously a mistake and so shouldn't have been flagged

Darren England is always a ****

Gundo never plays well in these games, he lacks the pace and stamina. He's much better against teams that sit back. Cancelo was sat at RW for most of the game and did absolutely nothing.

Another case of Pep fucking with the team for a big game and our players out there looking a bit lost. Pretty much the only negative to him being our manager, so we take it on the chin and move on.
