No excuse for that. We're the form team. They've been shite all season. They've got more injuries. They had a day's less rest. And yet despite all that, we play as usual at Anfield like it's our first ever PL game. And they go from a team that have spent the last 10 weeks running around like headless chickens to a prime Mourinho defence. And a lot of that is down to how easy we made it for their with our shite passing all game.
 
I had a snipe at someone on here who wanted Kev to play right wing. Well, he got the prediction right, but my comment about why would we waste the best midfielder on the planet as a winger won the war I suppose.

I'm glad we only have to play at Anfield once a season. Fuck me.
 
We never learn. I said before the game they would do us on the counter. I'm just some **** off the internet how can't we see it? They do to us what the lesser teams do but they've got world class players to implement it with.
 
Our first real test and we failed very badly here. We made them look champions when they have been shite. Even lesser teams played better against them.
We should be instilling fear instead we look like sheeps when we play there
 
Don’t know why we didn’t go for them first half, wasted opportunity, if I was in the camp I’d of told Pep “ let’s just go for it and don’t change the system”
 
Bad day but way too many on here spouting crap in the match day forum. We have lost to a very good team in the hardest away game of the season . We didn’t turn up but still had plenty of chances but so did they . Our goal was a foul in the build up so can’t really complain . We got beat and we will get beat again this season so we move on
 
We had as many if not more chances as them and have matched or bettered them most of the time but they have had to put in a full effort though, you could say Peps tinkering, Citys softness, shit VAR decisions and fucking Cancello cost us, because they did.

They had to go crystal palace or southampton on us and put in 110% effort.

That was by far and away the worst Liverpool team we have faced in the last 6 years. They were that shit we looked half arsed and were rushing everything.

Sadly a very poor performance emphasised by Joe Gomez / Milner being player of the match. Those two should have been targeted and shredded.
 
Nothing quite fucks up your stomach like losing to these scummy wankers. Piss poor today and that's an understatement.

Feel sick. As usual this one will take a good few weeks to largely forget. Why oh why can Pep never get the upper hand over these twats ? I fear the same against Spurs TBH, and I hate them every bit as much as these scumbags.

Dias and Rodri struggling with the safety first approach.

Did Haaland get a touch second half? It was attack down the left with Foden interplaying with Gundogan and Ake and that was it. no right side, and in the end Cancelo, confused made multiple mistakes

You play an extra midfielder for a defensive reason but then the best midfielder in the world is anonymous and frustrated on the right wing instead of just playing a right winger.

We just demolished an in form united with grealish-haaland-foden with de bruyne just behind them. and we scored 40 goals in 10 games but you just threw it out the window because your scared of anfield and emboldended they grind out a win sensing the vulnerability.

The ball ends up 95% of the time at the feet or Ake and Dias who are aids on the ball.

it was the wrong approach right from the start. we are the best team in the world but act scared of them - its all psychological.
 
Tight game. It was an error that cost us. Suicidal defending from Cancelo to dive in when he was last man.

Bizarre from Taylor to stop the game when we were breaking to send Klopp off. He was letting fouls go all game until we scored also, I can see why it got disallowed but it wasn't consistent with his other decisions.

We want shooting getting beat off that shower of shit. Feels a bit like we shot ourselves in the foot by not playing to our strengths.
