You have these performances from time to time……it’s a good point and keeps us within touching distance…many games to go and no doubt more twists and turns to come.
I reckon they are happy with it.Liverpool will be very disapointed with todays result
I'm afraid that's the most likely scoreMan Utd 0 Liverpool....5
Very funny! Obviously we need the dippers to drop points, it doesn’t have to be the rags that do that (thank God!)I love maths!! Sadly you don't!
That's what happens when Gundogan leaves, I think our midfield is better with Kovacic but Pep likes what he sees from Alvarez there for whatever fucking reason.I think we need to acknowledge the elephant in the room.
Unless Haaland scores or produces a big moment for someone else he is a liability in our team setup.
Also, this is the second game this season where our midfield has been completely obligated by the opposition (happened against Aston Villa as well). In recent I've seen us lose, play badly, have an off day, lose to a poorly defended counter attack but never get completely dominated in the middle of the park. This doesn't happen to Pep teams and it's happened twice so far this season. I believe it's connected to the above factor.
Anyway, thanks to a great piece of set piece work we came away with a point. That's a positive at Klanfield but it means the title is now out of our direct control.
Spot on and giving them the gift of a penalty at the start of the second half was a complete disaster. It gave Liverpool and their fans all the momentum and new belief. Poor from Ake and then compounded by the stupid challenge from Ederson...not the first time he has done this.We won the first half, they won the second, but truth be told we were the paint on post away from stealing it and we have kept ourselves in the title race.
Sometimes you have to suffer through these.
But its not reallystill very much in our hands
