Unable to recall who the match commentator was on Sky but all throughout the match his adulation of the Kop and Liverpool fans was off the scale. I’m sure at one point in the second half he referred to “the tens of thousands behind the goal” meaning the Kop end. The actual capacity is 12850. Hyperbole personified!

That’s a great result for the players to give them belief they are still in it. Showed a lot of character to get back into that.

Few thoughts. Guehi looks to be a really top defender. The full backs have great pace, will be interesting to see how we develop with Ait Nouri and Nunes playing there regularly. I think both will be very useful getting up the pitch. Haaland needed that moment. Goal and assist is a great boost for him. The Don is a goalkeeping God.
