Haaland is relevant because his foul stops Szobozlai stopping the goal. But the earlier foul stops Haaland having a goal scoring opportunity.

Once advantage is played, when Haaland commits the foul, I don't see the logic in taking it back to an earlier foul. They only do that when they deem no advantage has been gained.

If Haaland didn't commit the foul, and Szobozlai clears it, fine, the advantage isn't gained and it goes back to the origonal foul. But once Haaland fouls him, is that not the new point to take it back to?
Haaland had no advantage as the foul allowed Szobolozlai to overtake him

Especially as Neville said on commentary that there was another 15 seconds to play.

Cherki just doesn’t seem like the type of profile that sticks around here. He’ll be punished for his immaturity and at some point spit his dummy out about it and head back to France.
How have you come to this conclusion ffs?

Cherki loves it at City, I doubt he'll go anywhere for a few years yet ..

When we signed Donna all the usual no nowts in the media were quick to point how he was shit at passing out Pep style. They were desperate to make every one believe it was a poor signing, after all, the Champs League winners dont get rid of a great keeper do they.
Well today, yet again, showed why we signed him and why he has to be considered as one of the greatest keepers currently plying his trade. That save at the end, after it took a deflection and was hit with real power was so so important.
It just shows how corrupt the media are, they cannot report with any honesty

Cheers Donna. (Im now going to put a tick against your name in the MoM thread.
I actually think Eddie was a huge part of our issues at Anfield / Liverpool in years gone by, he would absolutely kamikaze it out of goal the moment the ball cleared our high line.

Obviously the poor fucker is scared for life from one of those moments. I loved Eddie but I weirdly felt far more secure at the back with Donna there today and that save at the end, christ.

Really?

Cherki has been the most animated with apologising to fans, after games we haven’t played well in and dropped points of late.

He’s goes round the pitch to say thank you to the support with more effort than any other player. He looks fully on board with Pep and the club.

Here's a thought...

Cherki blasted that free kick over the bar, game restarts with a goal kick and Alison hoofs it up field, one bounce and Salah latches on to it and buries it in the top corner... There would have been a fucking riot.

I was paranoid that was going to happen and would have been a right typical City moment.

Balls of steal from our lot today, they weren’t great in the second half and could have potentially swept away with a Liverpool onslaught when they scored. Everyone has liked to have laid into Haaland over the last few weeks, however the cushioned header assist to Bernardo from a ball that had changed direction was something else. And then stepping up to slot home the winner from the spot when Mahrez’s penalty in 2018 has just returned back into the solar system like Halley’s Comet.

You do realize that you said referees don't make decisions based on what may happen and just laid out how they do, either way.

He made a decision not to send Guehi off because he wasn't sure what may have happened.

Cheers for correcting yourself, takes a big man to do so. Enjoy your evening, I know I will, we won sure.
May of happened is the clue you fucking idiot, he didnt know that salah would have got a shot off, he cant rule on a decision to send a player off without knowing thats what would have happened in his mind, maybe a fucking helicopter falls from the sky and blocks the shot, should have given a drop ball.

If a player fouls someone but the team still has the ball the ref can play advantage but what doesnt happen is the attacking team gets a free foul and they call it quits.
Even when we win some still want to ruin it.
VAR said it was a free kick and a red
The ref agreed
Haaland agreed it was the the correct decision by the laws of the game.
So did the pundits
So do many city fans

But no you and a couple of biased blues will argue the fact even though its been explained to you.
