Not for me. Zinchenko has really improved defensively over the years. Also look how many headers he's winning nowadays and controls them.Zinchenko, good lad, he has stuck at it and hardly gave Salah a kick tonight. There was never a doubt about his football ability but his defending was a concern. Tonight he was outstanding.
He made an early mistake to not cover TAA's right foot and let him deliver a cross,
but Salah was right in his pocket.
Zin's great ball control also is much more press resistent, esp. vs teams like dippers.
Laporte as a left foot would have had more problems vs Salah cutting inside IMO.
