Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

Then a spokesperson came out later to try to justify the decision saying it was a " dive ".? That along with the disallowed goal for Gabriel Jesus for handball in the same game. They had to look very closely to find it brushed the hairs on Aymeric Laportes arm but missed the Spurs player gripping Aymeric Laportes wrist. Those decisions cost City two points. There was a narrative about how LiVARpool had some decisions in their favour but not to the tune of eighteen points. One set of games could see a swing of four points or more, imagine that over a season of 38 games.
Still think if the decisions had gone the right way in the 3-1 defeat last season, we'd be in a title race. Maybe that would have knackered us for this season, so swings and roundabouts, but I think we'd have been within 4 points of them and doubt would kick in and they'd have dropped more in fear of us catching them like in the Fourmidibles season.

Salah does this sort of thing a lot.
Why can't the 'foul' be looked at retrospectively and the cnut banned for cheating/ungentlemanly conduct/bringing the game into disrepute?
The FA = soFt Arses!
The biggest beneficiaries play in red but that's probably just a coincidence?

Didnt pigmol bring in retrospective action against players who were found to have deliberately mislead the ref, and gained an advantage a couple of seasons ago?
They probably did but if the deliberate mislead was against Manchester City it doesn't apply!! :-)

Cynical Moi? Heaven forfend!!

With regard to pushing and pulling, why wasn‘t Foden afforded the same treatment as Salah for that obvious push by Robertson when looking to slot it home?
It happens often where City and fouls in the box are concerned, the officials and the media seem to ignore it. Or the same tired excuses are trotted out.

Danny Murphy said the other week that he was appointed to the panel but hasn't been asked to look at anything for 2 years. Think it might have been on a Match of the Day as I can't seem to find the quote on a web search.

In 2012 we would have been denied one of the most iconic moments in the game but for dubious decisions. I still remember a certain manager from just outside Manchester talking about how City played the QPR game against 10 players despite playing against ten on occasions that season.
