Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

Yeah, you can do that, but we surely were talking about the goalkeeper himself going upfield to take a penalty. It happens occasionally, and if he misses, he just had to leg it back to get back in goal, and hope the opposition don't get the ball past him.
Put someone else in goal while he takes it.

Has anyone seen the incidents for us again, that weren't given?

Foden not getting a pen on the cross, looked like something that would at least be looked at by VAR but they never even mentioned it AFAIK. Then the Stones offside, probably was offside but where the fuck were the lines? Was it that obvious that they weren't even needed? Dias got a yellow for "pulling" Salah, but Fabinho didn't get one for purposefully putting his leg out to try and stop Sterling, he got a yellow later on Foden so that would've been a red.
Some teams do well with yellow cards in that they get a finger wgged when others are actually on the receiving end. Yer right, shev - no difference in the fouls, apart from the fact that Dias didn't, and Fabinho would have had a one-matcher, which he gets away with!

Comedy Gold over at RAWK:

You mean getting shanked weekly by bent referees, the massive bellend-ery of the media looking the other way, or the greatest injury decimation in club history?

How do you resolve stuff like this --- that is so clearly out of control --- while Man City walk free after a major charge of cheating?

This is our culture. Someone is sending a big big message to our club and owners --- and we should pay attention to it and resist the fuck out of it.

Watch people start going after Klopp now... In some small twatteratti universes they already have.

Nothing wrong with our club. There is something going on here --- important people want to see the club humiliated.

The Times podcast on Feb 1st were eulogising Liverpool's two wins against West Ham and Spurs. Wurzel Rudd giddy all through and other journo's happily gushing about their 'so-called' crisis being well and truly over and being back on track for the title. Can't wait for the next episode.

Serious question as I`ve not seen anything on here ... but has Klopps mother ,Elisabeth passed away.
Serious q not a piss take !!
She did yeah, all the sympathy in the world for the lad, I know from experience how hard it is to lose somebody now when you can't even go to the funeral.
