Both apparently, but more jaded from what I seen. Napoli played a few long balls that tended to catch them out somewhat, and they didn't like being turned around by this, Salah looked gassed as well. Doesn't mean anything for Sunday imo if we don't keep it tight as Napoli did tonight.

You’re right it doesn’t necessarily mean anything for our game but it’s encouraging that a hard game at Chelsea evidently has left them struggling tonight and so logically with them having had one day less to recover we should be much the fresher team on Sunday.

Couldn't string 2 passes together. Napoli one touched their way through a very limp front 3 press and ran the channels down the lines.
Liverpool with 1 shot NOT on target (5 yards wide). They were outplayed for 70 % of the game but certainly played a different game to normal. Played for a draw imho. I thought they were deliberately not expending too much energy with the press knowing its us on Sunday. Salah was shit again their best player was Gomez with VVD just behind. Think Klipperty planned to have Henderson fresh for Sunday but Keitas injury fucked that up and we can all name their line up.
Heres hoping we can be solid for 20 mins while they throw the kitchen sink at us and then take over the game as usual but be on level terms when we do. We all know they blow themselves out early and struggle at the end. No mistakes or gifts and we can get something out of this.

Full strength albeit they were woeful with their front three never looking like even having a shot for the whole game.

Keita had to be substituted due to a back complaint so I doubt he will start on Sunday but we shall see.

I don't think Keita aside they will change the line up much although on form Sturridge should replace Salah who has been poor this year to date.

Bernardo is likely to replace Gundy for us with maybe Mendy coming in to the squad for Sunday as well.

Lets hope Liverpool carry on with the performances they dished out in the cup competitions as we should be fine.

I doubt Keita would have started for them (against us) as he's not in their first team.

It's such a shame (for them) that Salah has been a depressed form - he was their driving machine to trophies. They don't have the same talent of depth as us. An in-form Sturridge is half the player of an in-form Salah.
