Liverpool need to go for the win which may fall straight into our hands.
I will go for
Ederson

We've won 13 in a row, they've not scored at home since Boxing Day in a draw against West Brom. They've also lost their last two home games in the league.

So look forward to losing 3-0 with long range goals from Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain and a Salah penalty.
True typical city style lol

Which is why i think they'll come out all guns blazing from the off, it's their only real chance.
They've blitzed us before and we were a goal or two down before we woke up but the damage had been done.
Pep knows this and i think we'll start the game quite conservatively, keep the ball & take the sting out the game

I think such tactics may be suicidal for them, they will be afraid that a heavy loss may be on the cards, given their problems in defence and their 4:0 loss several months ago. Therefore, they will be more cautious than usually and may even accept a draw as a decent result. Only an early goal for us or them may open up the game already in the first half. We are not pressured to win, so patience will be key. They can't last 90 minutes after so many difficult games recently (Man U twice, Spurs, Burnley, Brighton).

Think Liverpool will defend mostly in their half and rely on counters. Only if we take the lead by 1-2 goals, will they try to go out all guns blazing. But who knows, Klopp may choose a highly risky tactics hoping that luck will be with them.

Difficult game and they won’t want us to take any points but we look so strong and determined.

We go into this game in our best form for years, with the best defence in Europe

Liverpool are all over the place at the back and misfiring up front

Klopp looks lost for ideas and his players knackered

Pep looks reinvigorated and the Boys are chomping at the bit and putting in the hard yards for each other

Win and we can set the tone for domestic dominance for years, you win our title once, we come and take it back the next year with you out of contention before Valentines Day

But it's City at Anfield so...
3 - 1 Liverpool

If we win on Sunday, the league becomes less interesting from a TV/business point of view. So, we have to deal with VAR and Oliver. The biggest danger in this game is to get a red card. Pep has to warn our players about this possibility, especially Rodri and the defenders. They might be booked for simple fouls.

The worry that Oliver will try to help them is completely justified. Not so much because they are Liverpool but because the PL want a tight race involving both United and Liverpool along with City. ... and very early on, I suspect.

Not that i would but we could go with Cancelo wide forward and have Walker at the back for speed.

------------------- Ederson -----------------
Walker --- Stones --- Dias ---Zinchecko
--- Bernardo ---- Rodri ----Gundogan---
Cancelo ------------ Jesus ------------Foden

But I'd prefer to play Torres upfront.

Zin against Salah?

Disaster that mate

Get ready. I'll be staggered if the back 4 is different to what I've suggested. Pep's comments about Zin's build up the other week and about us going back to basics in terms of set up (wingers high and wide, full backs in midfield) feel very instructive to me.

And the lead in the league table also affords Pep the freedom to play his best attacking team.
