Utter bollocks.

The 0-0 with the Mahrez penalty miss we were the better team.

Their recent wins have been moody as fuck with pure bent refereeing.

Play the game, not the occasion.

We are the better side and we should be going there to fucking leather them.
How on earth can say "utter bollocks"??? What a bizarre comment. Have you seen our record at Anfield, because it seems you have no clue.

Right concentrate, and be focused straight from the kick off, they will throw everything at us, and press us like fuck, trying to grab an early goal, hold them for 20-25 minutes until they start to slow down, then start to turn the screw

I think we are doing this current team and injustice we keep possesion so well and we are ultra hard to score against.im going 0-3 city

What worries me is mane and salah, if we can contain these two, keep them quiet and limit them to chances, we'll be fine. My only other concern is our forwards and the chances we squander, we have to make sure we put them away on Sunday or we might rue the day
Then again, if City don't let the other team score and make sure they get a goal or two themselves ...

Somehow I don't feel too anxious about a visit to Anfield....If we keep the concentration and Pep doesn't overthinking the game I think we will get the 3 points

Pep does like to over think these games. If we play like we have been we should keep a clean sheet and get our best result there in a long time. Over think and change our game and who knows.

we need a big game from Gundo and the defense. Hope Foden starts and I would play Sterling even though he’s been average this season but without the crowd I could see him scoring a few.

Ederson
Walker Stones Dias Cancelo
Bernardo Rodri Phil
Raz Gundo Gabby

Not much change to usual but stopping their fullbacks getting forward, with pace and workrate on both sides of the pitch.

Without the crowd hyping the occasion, LiVARpool have found it tough going against a couple of clubs that were able to hold them at bay, and grab a goal.

Both sets of players will be up for it, but we are currently BY FAR the better team, so if both teams play well, we win.

If we can control the ball, even 65%, and take our chances, we win all day. However, the Burnley and Brighton results are why we play the game!

Anything other than a loss is a victory, as it removes them as an immediate threat and we can concentrate on Utd, Leicester and Everton (who are 3rd if they win their games in hand).

We have been in a very good run and they haven’t. That’s a good thing.

“Anything but standard” 4-3-3

.............Ederson
Walker..Stones..Dias..Cancelo
..Bernardo..Rodri..Gundo
Sterling....Jesus....Foden

which, when attacking, plays like...

..........Ederson
......Stones...Dias
Walker..Rodri..Cancelo

Sterling..Jesus..Foden

and, when defending, plays like...

with Sterling and Foden blunting their FBs, and Cancelo playing a roving role in behind the attacking midfielders. My concern with that is that Salah roams around in the spaces left and Cancelo tends to leave his wing wide open.

Conversely, we play Laporte as the LB, while really being a LCB, with Walker moving forward to support Rodri.

Even with Sergio, KDB and Ake out, we have a few options, with Zinchenko, Garcia, Ferna, Torres, Mahrez and maybe even Delap on the bench!

Absolutely that team. I think he might play Fernadinho as well as Rodri though and Foden might lose out. One thing I know is you can never guess a Pep line-up!

Two years ago Pep got his tactics spot on only for Mahrez to miss the late penalty to deny us the win. Last season would have been the same but we got stiffed by the officials for two very dodgy goals. If only there had been some way for the refs to review those goals before awarding them?
I reckon Pep will get it right again and I'm expecting a draw if Liverpool can hold out.

Funnily enough, I had Ferna in originally, with a Back 3 of Stones, Dias, Laporte, and Cancelo playing RM with Rodri & Ferna. From there, though, it gets trickier! How do you squeeze everyone else in? As you say, Foden loses out. However, at the moment, Foden is playing better than Sterling, IMHO,

Cant wait for the game, time we smashed the tide mark's at their ground, dont mean it has to be a high score win even a good old 2- 0 will be enough but I want us to give them the run around

Wreak havoc on their makeshift defence

The key could be cancelo in the midfield
