No excuse for not getting a win on Sunday. They’re low on confidence, injuries in different positions and no Mane to put up with. If there’s a chance to ever win at Anfield in front of a crowd, it’s now. Would love to absolutely smash them.

No excuse for not turning up, I agree. But even if we play well, we may lose or draw. That's football, even the Centurions lost from Wigan. Luck, in the form of deflections, bounces, wonder strikes, errors, etc., will always play a role in football. Pep's tactics is so successful in the league, because it minimizes the role of luck, but no tactics will ever be able to entirely eliminate the role of luck. We saw it first-hand last night. Normally, we win that game vs Copenhagen by 3+ goals. I wouldn't blame Gomez or the other players. Shit happens, we move on. I'd rather lose 5:0 and be in our position, that win 5:0 and be in Liverpool's position.

Don't bank on Erling being fit for this one, muscle problems according to Pep. Still going to include him in my team though which would be: Ederson, Cancelo, Ake, Akanji, Dias, Rodri, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Bernardo, Foden, Haaland

: "He finished the game against Southampton so, so tired and he didn't recover well these last few days. Yesterday was not good, today was a little bit better but we decided not to take the risk." [via

The team Klopp can put out is still going to be a very good one maybe better because Trent being fit is good for us!

There are defensive tradeoffs with Trent. He's key to their build-up play and successful transitions. Gomez may be better at stopping attacking actions than Trent, but without Trent the ball will be returning more often and more quickly in Liverpool's half, and their defensive shape will suffer for it. I'd rather play them without Trent: it will be easier to press them and pin them down.

Does anybody else live in your world?

Honestly mate some of the stuff you come up with.

Why on earth would you want to say that about Haaland when not one syllable is so much as true?

Gotta be that.

Not sure what people have seen from laporte in the last two champions League matches to think he'd be a better option than Ake on current form.
Still easing his way back in. Maybe not recovered fully for Sunday. So I reckon it'll be Ake, Dias, Akanji and Cancelo as the back 4.

Be interesting to see how rough rangers get with them tonight? Going to be a tasty atmosphere and I’m sure they will get stuck into VVD
