Be interesting to see how Liverpool set up with the loss of Mane and Diaz being out. Mane always chased us so many problems and Diaz being out gives them no natural wide left option. Firmino generally causes us issues, so important we keep him quiet.

I think it’s essential we have Bernardo central and Foden and grealish starting. Thank god no more waiting for sterling to deliver against Liverpool either and we can go out and play with no real baggage on our shoulders.

Hopefully Pep starting Mahrez last night was because he won't be starting at the weekend.

No excuse for not getting a win on Sunday. They’re low on confidence, injuries in different positions and no Mane to put up with. If there’s a chance to ever win at Anfield in front of a crowd, it’s now. Would love to absolutely smash them.

Liverpool play such a high line, we need to be looking out for Haaland’s runs behind. In the community shield that pass was always on, he was making runs but we just weren’t looking for it, probably because we were not used to playing with a striker like that. I was shouting at the TV because it was right there…

Cue about two weeks later and Crystal Palace couldn’t fail to keep putting players in behind with that exact ball.

Obviously it’s not that simple or teams would score a hatful every week, but not every team has a Haaland with that pace and timing of runs, or midfielders with the quality to make those passes. Hopefully we exploit it more this time.
