I didn't see any sign of JS at training and if the injury being reported is what he has then I cannot see him starting or making the bench.

I hope its only a slight inflammation as this foot injury can keep you sidelined for many months.

Like many of our players this season he is having a lot of difficulty getting a long run of games before something in his body breaks down and it takes games when you are built like him to get back to peak fitness and match fitness.

You cannot see much else changing for the rest of his career and its no coincidence the most minutes and by some margin he played in a City Shirt was in his first year at the club when he was 22.

He has never managed more than 36 starts in a season for us and only more than 32 starts in one season largely due to injuries.
FFs mate John Boy only plays when Eccles takes the restraints off ;-)

Like all Blues, gutted about recent results, but we know for sure it will be sorted soon.
Meanwhile no matter how brassed off I am at the moment and not looking forward to the hysterical dippers ,I just think of how their lives have been badly affected by City, that also
goes for the d/s and Legomans crowd.
93.20 for bacons shower, 4cm ,or whatever it was for the ferals, and the annual implosions of arse.
In Pep we trust.
We are still the four in a row champions and history makers come full time on Sunday.

If we don't play him they'll murder us. Knowing that Pep is going to play Lewis who will be completely out of his depth we need Kev to do his bit for the team and have a blinder.

Or, alternatively, they'll murder us if we play both Haaland and KDB due to their deficiencies in defence. We were winning when KDB was subbed on vs Brighton, we lost the game. We were winning vs Feyenoord 3:0 when KDB was brought on, we drew 3:3.

Relying on KDB to suddenly come to life and save us is magical thinking. The first precondition to start a game of that magnitude is to be able to put in a proper shift. If KDB is ready to do it, then fine. Anfield is not the best place to give him a 1st start since 10 weeks, though. He was very poor vs Liverpool in March despite having played a lot more minutes than this season.
