Liverpool away - Hillsborough tribute

I was at goodison when we had the tribute to the 96 shortly after the independent panels findings. When I heard we were going to beforehand I had doubts as to how it would be handled. If we played ynwa would it be respected? As it was I was moved by the respect shown by both ours and the newcastle fans. Embrace it for what it is - 96 innocent people who died at a football game. If you object strongly then just skip it and take your seat after.
 
lets not forget the facts 96 people died and the police lied the press lied and then successive govts covered up the mess for years if it wasn’t for the campaigners we would have believed it was drunken scousers behaving badly that was the problem

its much bigger than football rivalry we were all diminished by the response to hillsborough by the people we elected to do the right thing

So lets make sure MCFC fans show maximum respect to the innocent victims and absolute outrage at state incompetence and lies

Lets use this as an opportunity to remember why we should be vigilant against the powers be that be so many recent cases along with Hillsborough
• pleb gate
• Jimmy saville
• stephen lawrence
• the cover up over police plants in environmental campaigns
• the racist cover up over the child abuse in rochdale
• and god knows the number of posters who come on here claiming to be fitted up by the police
its all the same rotten culture they simply cannot be trusted and will lie cheat and obfuscate to get out of the responsibility they had for this totally avoidable disaster that’s the reason to support the Hillsborough tribute their work has done us all a great service and we should be thankful they are bothered enough to get to the truth

JFT 39. Liverpool FC's take on that is interesting.
According to them 39 'people died where they fell when a wall collapsed'.So that's that then.
I wonder if Juventus feel they've had justice.
Apparently, there is not one common donominator between the two events. Not even the obvious one. Sorry for not towing the party line but I'll be staying respectful on the day for my own reasons and thoughts. If you don't like that point of view, call me a moron online. I'll be this arsed.
I also find it interesting that if I call someone a moron I'll get a warning for breaching the code of conduct, and yet a moderator does it and its 'being entitled to an opinion'. Brilliant.

I will be respectful on the day too.

The fact that 39 Juventus fans were murdered is an issue for another day / month.
 
I think it's appropriate not to get involved apart from showing respect then play the game to win.

I have my own opinion about Hillsborough which I only share with fans who understand this time in football.
