Unlucky mate, I’m fortunate enough to have a very good friend (I’d probably consider him my dearest friend) who’s one of the good ones, he’s 82, grew up in Anfield, went to Scotland road primary school, passionate about the club, but no more blinkered than any reasonable thinking fan of any other club, but he can’t stand the gobshite element of their fan base who give him, and others like him such a bad name, only the other day he referred to them as ‘typical gobshite scousers’, which says a lot.I have one living directly across the road from me, when they won the league he took great pleasure in leaving the light on in his little man cave, which is adorned with all sorts of Lfc tat, needless to say he’s been living in darkness ever since
Personally I've never linked the chant to the Hillsborough disaster, I always thought it was about the mickeys in general, you're right though it can be linked and shouldn't be sang anymore.
So Moral FC don't like a song, they want apologies and certain songs banned, even though in my opinion it has nothing to do with Hillsborough.
When are these same patron saints going to publicly apologise for there vast array of damage, harm and offence they've caused down the years.
They only stopped singing about Munich ( which they had plenty of songs and banners) when United started singing about Hillsborough ( Where's your famous Munich songs) shut them stone dead coz the boot was on the other foot.
They still sing about Harold Shipman and his killing of Mancs.
They've mocked, laughed and took the piss out of Everton with there Steua Bucharest banner, a bye product of them murdering 39 innocents at Heysel.
They sang about there Queen being in a box, oh how they laughed.
They've caused mayhem across this country and Europe, they robbed tickets from there own fans in Istanbul.
They waved Turkish delights at Leeds fans, just a slight dig at two Leeds fans getting stabbed to death.
They are by far the worse fans in the country, there charge sheet is off the scale, they hate the truth and don't deal in facts.
They would only be happy if every fan at every ground sang YNWA whilst waving a Scummy scarf, they'd probably demand royalty payments for the privelage.
I don't buy into there nonsense, I will continue to sing always the victims, murderers and any other song that gets under the skin of kings of moral outrage.
