Liverpool bus damaged on journey back from Etihad Stadium today

It's not something I'd sing, and I've challenged plenty on here for comments about Hillsborough and Heysel, but it's odd that it's been rebranded as "tragedy chanting".

The very first mention of it I've seen in the national press was after the Suarez stuff. It's reported in the Guardian, that Liverpool fans were signing about Evra being a liar, and United fans replied with "Always the victim".

At the time, (this was a couple of months after the t-shirts, and after Suarez had been found guilty by the FA), it was the racist chants from Liverpool fans that were considered worse.
Exactly.

Fake news revisionism worthy of communist propaganda.

Apparently the ‘always the victims’ was the offensive chant. That City have condemned.(friends again with Liverpool?)

As well know, even the City, the chant has nothing to do with Hillsborough. That’s the narrative LFC, Liverpool supporter organisations, Liverpool fans, and the Liverpool (loving) media have spun over the last few years to try to get the chant stopped.

The chant is about Liverpool fans never taking responsibility for their actions.
They'll always connect that chant to every aspect of their club. Always. Heard it from 302. Once. A few joined in. Can't say I did. My conscience wasn't comfortable with it, knowing context could be sandwiched around it, unbranded, rebranded and paraded as a modern hate crime.

Stockport County had a parade of ultras videoed the other night. Summat about stamping on the bones of Burnley fans. All over the media? Liverpool offended? Probably.

…and always blaming someone else.
