Liverpool FA Cup s/f (N) | Post Match Thread

Yep, it was sickening. I told the stewards countless times and I wasn’t the only one. There was a row of about 25 of them above us, waving flags, not even subtle.

Spat on us (in a pandemic no less) before kick off, spat on us every time they scored, threw missiles when we scored, one of which hit a little girl and broke her arm.

One steward told me “what do you want me to do, go up there myself?” Why can’t they radio or fucking wave at their colleagues?

But naturally the narrative is that City fans were crap/quiet/absent/disrespectful.
Desperately want to see us in Paris but with that scum around I'd have to give it a swerve
Why didn't City fans have a go back or at least try to get them ejected?Where were the police ffs! Did no one video them on a mobile?
Hope you and the girl take it further
Come on Villarreal!!

Pep has always had the rolls royce on call. Whether is was inheriting that ridiculous core of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta at Barcelona, to the unprecedented power of the single club league in Germany, to his ability at Man City to activate any release clause he wants. Pep has never never known struggle. That's the biggest criticism of Pep, and its valid.

Granted Pep knows how to get a team playing elite level football. But if you gave Pep and Klopp 100m to build up a squad over three years. After those three years, I think I know which team would be at a higher level

If you think it's easier to manage a team with top, top talents than a team like say Leicester, you make a mistake, and not a friendly one :) No big club would prefer Ranieri to Pep because Ranieri did the impossible with Leicester.

To put it differently, you see only the upsides of managing a top squad and ignore, or are unaware of, the problems and the difficulties. How many managers survive 5 years at the richest clubs in the world, the likes of Real, Barcelona, City, PSG and United?

In summary old City fans despise the new zombie tourist City fans that have hijacked our club, the new lifeless City fans over time wear down and induce a chemical reaction in the brain of the old City fans were they begin to question why they’re paying over inflated prices to watch games sitting next to the very new City fans they so bitterly repulse so subsequently choose to stay away, ultimately the small remaining proportion of old City fans now choose to behave like new City fans telling their previous like minded old City fan comrades to sit down, be quiet and don’t swear during a football game.

Too bloody right it was. Having endured something like Escape from New York, I tell asleep on the train home and some bastard had tied my shoes together so when I woke up I fell over
Lol. The old school boy trick was a lot more civilised than the Cardiff cunts were that day

I didn’t realise the final was before the season ends. Yesterdays result could really play into our hands as far as the league goes

I may as well reach for the nuclear button now to save so many different bad memories being dredged up …… didn’t get any worse than Old Trafford circa 1995
I was at that too Nov 94. Paid £50 to get in the Rag end…. Was a poor student too, survived on Gruel for the month after, for that viewing pleasure ;(

Haha what a complete load of jealous bollox. The rest of the football world (the ones that never win anything anymore) are so so bitter towards Pep and Arsenal fans are the most classless ones around. If he was at any other team, every city fan would applaud him for what he has done in football. Your statement that ‘granted Pep can get a team to play elite football’ completely contradicts the rest of your boring, inaccurate post. Friendly gooner my arse
