Nail on the head. Send out silly emails before the game to supporters but then but revenue over safety and fan enjoyment (or should I say ‘match day experience’?). So typical of our club nowadays. Money is at the forefront of all decisions made. The normal fans are a nuisance who just get in the way of it all.

Nail on the head. Can’t stand the people who now run our theme park of a ground. Maybe i’m ungrateful because the football we play and the players and manager we have our fantastic but i feel less connected to the club i’ll always love by the year. Won’t stop me going because my love for City is greater than most things but i understand why so many of our hardcore fans have stopped going.

Unfortunately/understandably it was chucked back and an innocent liverpool fan from Cornwall was burned.

That was seven months ago do we know what action LFC have taken ? Or is it still being investigated ?

Who knows that flare thrower could have been at City throwing things.

Agree I would even have a safety net along both sides of the dippers in April.

Any authority that says City cant should be held fully accountable should anything happen.

Put it I the risk assessment only a fool would over ride the safety officers risk assessment

Netting could cause psychological trauma to these fans by reminding them of the horrors of being caged in at Hillsborough. If deemed that netting was essential then MCFC must provide counsellors rather than stewards in that area.

My lad was also hit by a bottle, as I have said, no injury but the club have responded simply by saying an investigation is being conducted

Usually I would simply say, you know what it happened, you are ok, move on but the email before the game in part caused this so I want the club to do something.

They should take some responsibility.

Stick at it threaten them with solicitors etc. Do not back down.

The time for City to make a stand was straight after the coach attack. The game shouldn't have been played for a start.

By City basically doing nothing it made it easier for the press/media to ignore it. The piss poor 17k fine was a joke.

This lack of action by City, authorities, plus Merseyside police not nicking anyone, fed the dippers belief that they are untouchable.
Dippers behaviour is getting worse, got of scot free again at the CL final despite lots of videos of fake tickets and them jibbing in.

By going hand in hand with LFC imo is the wrong way, it makes it look like nothing sets of fans are the same. We arent.

City just look how it's being reported by the dippers loving press/media, it's being twisted against City. Wake up and smell the coffee. City fan gets arrested and ejected, not one dipper arrested or ejected. The most serious incident is being played down in favour of the one City fan shouting abuse at a LFC disable fan ( which is wrong and should have action taken ).

But even in our own statium the dippers were treated differently, got away with things, our own fans lives were in danger yet the club gets into bed with LFC. Lfc are the problem.
Our club our safety officers our risk assessment etc all thought it was safe to put the dippers above our fans. Serious questions need to be ask about these people thinking.
It must have been high risk of injury from thrown objects on the risk assessment so who signed it off ?

City should be sending out their own press/media statement calling out dippers behaviour.

I am not a thug ( to old now ! ) but I feel City actions are pushing some City fans beyond their normal sensible behaviour, by City poor actions in dealing with the dippers. Plus the clubs actions in putting fans lives in danger, because lives were in danger. How giving the dippers ss3 got signed of by the club is beyond me and shows a complete lack of respect to its fans

Good grief - are you seriously blaming the council now ???

It’s the Liverpool fans that are solely to blame. Ban them. The only solution is to stop away fans attending this fixture.

Every other team has occupied the 3rd tier without problems.

It’s not the councils fault, City’s fault, the Polices fault, it’s LFC fans.

Ban them and the matter is sorted.

Come up with a better solution then. Where do you put 6k opposition supporters that doesn’t entail closing a huge slice of match day revenue and ‘experience’. Like I said earlier we don’t have this problem with other fans so why should we close down hospitality?

At least put a net up and have the front two rows empty and a large number of Stewards and Police facing the fuckers. And go in hard on morons chucking stuff.
It really isn't that difficult.
