I've never read a Liverpool Echo article before, but that's hilarious - reads so much like a parody I had to check it was the real thing!

With bigger fish to fry for the Catalan this season, it was tempting to suggest the framework of his team was constructed solely around the identity of their visitors. He might deny that but there will at least be an element of truth to it.

this is the one where Nunez (very bottom right of screen) went on to screw it wide (again), his third effort. I thought he was 5 yards off in the ground, but Rico at the top is a touch deep. Still, i think he looks pretty off.

Another game against these lot, another load of moaning from the cry-arse cunts. It's not our fault that we didn't have a whole host of players that didn't go to the WC, is it? Most of these guys just got off the plane this week, but we didn't have a choice but to play them otherwise it would be a literal team of kids like it was against Girona. Did we take a cup game serious? When have City, under Pep, ever not taken a cup game serious? We try and win them all, unlike you lot.
Did City fans sing Feed the Scousers? Yes. Do your lot sing songs about Foden's mum? Also yes. The victim mentality is seeped from the ground up in that club. Have the been treated badly around Hillsborough? Yes - it's a disgrace. Have they been cunts around Europe for the entirety of being there? Yes, they're scum. Are they cunts at every ground they go to in England? Yes, theyre cunts.

Onto the game, what a performance. Seems like a standard against these lot that we rise up in terms of performance but have numerous brain-farts in allowing them to have easy goals. We should have been well out of sight in this game, but it is what it is.
