This is the problem. We need so many attempts to score. The opposition seem to
Score 1 in every 2/3 they have against our defence.

A great first half, but once again we got fucked by the refs. 3 games in a row now. What annoys me most about this game is that the players seemed to surrender once Liverpool scored. Should at least have tried to win this game. I'm very proud of this amazing team, but losing 3 times against Liverpool in a single season is embarassing, even though the refs were on their side in all those games.

Why is that though? Look what we've spent on defenders, good defenders too. If those we have aren't up to it, we need to find some that are. Maybe Mendy will help next season. Walker is quality, no doubt in my mind. It must be the centre backs, and lack of cover they get. We need a beast in midfield.

Looking for positives here

The only positive today really. Held onto the ball really well and was tenacious to get it back immediately. Hope he gets plenty of opportunities for the rest of the season because he's certainly proven he belongs with us past this season.

Positives far outweigh the negatives. The scores in both legs don't reflect this team and I'd rather our current squad all day. This team will only get better.

Totally galling. We played them off the park in the first half, and should have gone into half time 2:0 up. It would have been on. OK, there was still a lot to do, but they were wobbling.

The disallowed goal gave them a great boost into the break. Pep was an idiot to get sent off, and the Salah goal knocked the stuffing out of us. What a sucker punch. After that it was over anyway.

in cup competitions you need the right decisions from the ref, you need to capitalise on the chances you have and you need your rub of the green... otherwise it's hard to play your best game and that's why we are out. How different would 2-1 have been? How different would 2-0 up at half time tonight with Pep not being sent to the stands? The answer is a lot different, game changing decisions.

Nothing went in our favour, sometimes you just think it's not meant to be.

Well we went for it, first half was amazing, guys gave it everything but damage was done in the first leg, should have been 2-0 at half time, but once again referring in Europe went against us.

Let's get the league won, enjoy the season as a whole and forget the last three games, if we'd been offered a league and cup double at the start of the season we'd have taken it.

Hi As a Chelsea Fan I’m gutted. I hate Liverpool awful club/fans/city. We now have to put up with a media love in that’ll go way over the top. We’ve been on some awful decisions in this competition over the years,it sucks you just have to get over it.
Your deservedly Champions enjoy it’s gonna be a few years before we challenge again.
