Think we could win this 4-0 to cap a very strange week,2 defeats on the trot is almost unheard of these days for us,expect a strong reaction and one of our own famous European nights.

The crowd were magnificent today first half. Best I have heard since Hamburg. 2nd half not so much and to be honest I can only see it being flat Tuesday.

Agreed, I'm bringing 2 Belgian lads on Tuesday who couldn't get tickets and the condition of giving them tickets that 2 fickle b*****s backed out on is that they make some noise! We can do it! No doubt we can. It aint going to be easy but we need to fire the support up and get behind them.
Jeez we basically won the league and spanked Arsenal at Wembley.
Who would have taken that before the season started? I certainly would.

Rest the big hitters, we need a result away to Spurs.

In all seriousness, I think we'll beat them on Tuesday but not by enough to go through.

This will also leave us vulnerable in the next league game as we'll be straight back to the problem of players being knackered.

I’m not sure how the half way house rotation today would have left them any less tired. It was a very strange line up.

He plays De Bruyne in matches like Wolves in the cup and yet rests him today. He better play 2 strikers on Tuesday or his decision today will look even more baffling.

Starting lineup 2-3-3-2 -

Ederson
Walker Laporte
Gundo Dinho Silva
Sterling KdB Sane
Aguero Jesus

Sub Ederson at half time, bring on Bernardo and switch to 2-3-3-3 without a candle as a GK. Klopp would shit himself when he sees that. Proper masterclass.

Is this the game we sacrificed winning the league against Utd for ? I hope it's worth it

Highly likely team:

Ederson

Walker
Kompany
Otamendi
Delph

Fernandinho
De bruyne
Silva

Sterling
Sane
Aguero

All guns blazing team:

Ederson

Walker
Otamendi
Laporte

Sterling
Fernandinho
De Bruyne
Silva
Sane

Aguero
Jesus

As disappointing as the second half was today, the first half showed we can do what we need to. In many ways I'm more confident after the derby than I would have been if we'd won 1-0 or something.

Tuesday is about scoring goals. Lots and lots of goals. 3 minimum, 5 probably necessary, if not 6.

And today we showed against a much better defence than Liverpools, that we can slice through them and create chances at will. Aguero will be on the pitch, Sterling won't have another day as bad as today in front of goal, and if we can repeat the first half today in the first half at Anfield, we'll be 4-0 up and they'll shit themselves.
