Play the kids. Let's smash spurs.
Why do you say stuff like that?

You are aware what happened in the CL last season with Barcelona and PSG. We have done stuff like this before. We got nothing from the ref today. Maybe we get a pen. Maybe they get a man sent off? All kinds of stuff can happen in these games. We absolutely have to give it everything. 10% chance of doing it, but if we do, it will probably be one of the greatest nights in our ground

After today I would not start Sterling. Bernardo Silva on the right. Overlapping with Silva. we can use Sterling as a sub to come on when the game is getting stretched if the tie is still alive. I think I might play Zinchenko if Salah is out. we need a left back who can overlap.

Be interesting to see what tactics LFC adopt. Will they try and get an away goal to force us to score 5, or will they just sit deep all game long like they did in the 2nd half. I hope they are defensive. If we nick one, their heads will go, just as ours did.

Apart form Mendy, I am not sure we have such a leftback, Delph, Zinchenko don't really do that from what I have seen. In fact, Laporte seems the most capable from recent viewings as he seems to have that bit extra energy about him.

To me it will be crucial to win and see the team not giving up at any moment. Me personally dont think it will happen given our defending ant crucial moments collapses in high pressure moments even fucking Bristol City gave us problems and scored goals luckily we faced a mentally dead Arsenal in final.

But it will be interesting to see that if we dont win how its gonna happen. We win 2-0 or 3-1 and say it was close, we gave our best today wasnt enough. Or its gonna be 1-1, 2-2 or even lose both ties. Huge difference imo even if same outcome in the end. To me this gonna be a difference end of season looking back to it if our CL journey ends on Tuesday.

To go trough we need a miracle either scoring 4-5-6-7 goals maybe. Or score 3 woithout conceding but given the conversation rate of Pool/united in two game against us, less then 10 shot on goals they had imo 6 of them were goals. And limiting Liverpool to having no shots on goal is gonna be hard.

What we dont have imo is the steel to keep it safe for Ederson lets say we go up 2-0 until 30 minutes I can easily see them scoring one goal and within 20 miinute another probably from 1 shot in that 20 minutes.

So from 2-1 up we would have to go to score 3 more to be 5-1 up with probably pushing forward so much that our defending especially against quick counter would fail.

We really dont like the gegenpressing of Klopp. Fernandinho, Kompany, Otamendi will struggle a lot under pressure and none of them will want the ball probably.
Even 3-1 loss this week would have given us so much more chance than the 3-0. The zero shot on target vs Karius really is something.

I want City players to give their all and not collapse even for 10-20 minutes period because that is enough for teams like Liverpool, United to score 3 goals like this week proved it.
Beat them even if we dont go trough. Will be easier to accept going out of CL with a win and better die trying than to play a shit 1-1 with not even being close to anything during 180 minutes of the tie.

Ederson, Delph, Otamendi, Kompany, Walker, Fernandinho, Silva, KDB, Sane, Kun, Sterling will start imo would change maybe Laporte for Otamendi.

That Barca team also had Neymar and Messi. I don't think we have the players or manager with the fortitude to do it. And it pains me to say that.

Not sure I want us to win that much, if it means he rests more players over the next 3 league games because we do and then have tough semis to play.

Would hate to go into the last 3 weeks of this amazing season under real pressure to win the trophy we won months ago.

Going on to lose to Barcelona in the semi or even the final is not worth making this historic season end as a damp squib, even if we do limp over the line as we surely will.

We are not strong enough to win the CL yet. Next year maybe when we discover how to convert more chances which you just have to do v teams at the real top.

So whilst I obviously would love to see us turn this tie around in many ways it will be a relief if we don't if it means we then play our best team in the league and we smash the points and goal records that we still can do if we go for it.

We are going to win the CL with this team in the next year or two but we will almost certainly not be this far ahead in the PL again and able to set records that will be remembered for years.

So want us to win, as always, but oddly not that fussed if we don't.

Would feel totally different had we won today, of course.

Sterling starting against Liverpool on Tuesday and toe poking the sitters in. We could rattle up 4,5,6 or more against that scouse shite and put a bad week at the office against shite teams in general behind us.

If we turned this game around it would give us such a huge boost.

Liverpool 4-1 .

Defence is woeful if United can put 3 past them, Liverpool are miles better than the Rags.

Dangerous game this with the tension around it, south stand vip area ,be a good idea to ramp up security, things could/but should not get ugly

All they have to do is attack, we look like conceding every time the opposition comes forward as of late. Really shitty way to end the season but as long as we can give it a good go then f**k it it’s ok.
