watching the game of course.....as i always do...never miss one....I will have to endure being in a pub full of scousers...loads of the twats down here and no city fans that i know of or have ever seen (know a huddersfield fan however!)

Felt the same honestly gutted we didnt do it yesterday but reading in another thread cheered me up some one saying us winning the next 2 hopefully and the same weekend we play Swansea scum have the semi vs spurs perfect scenario we win title they get knocked out of the fa cup hopefully.
 
Don't envy you sitting in a pub full of them. Would be nice if you could make some beermats of your very eloquent posts about the delusional history boys. Keep the faith blue you might even be smiling by the end of the evening

I also think will be 4 at the back.
Firstly we don't have a left wingback for a 3-5-2, and Sané won't be seen when he has to do that job. Btw he has enough problems on the wing finding his form.

Secondly, in difficult times get back to basics. Pep said it post derby.
He changed our proven setup at Anfield and lost, also in the derby. Should go back to our strengths.

I wish our lads could forget this fuckin week which ends today.
Have a new start tomorrow and play to our strengths. Full power. No fears.

We have 90 minutes.
We have to keep it strong and tight at the back.
Full attack could be on later though. IMO.

Totally agree. 4-3-3 or 4-1-4-1 which is pretty much the same. Kompany or Ota plays it to Fern, who quickly passes it to KDB with runners sprinting forward in front and on both wings. Rips defences to pieces, time and time again. Kev can ping it left or right or up the middle and they can't defend everywhere.

That’s the same team I posted earlier. Think we are better off starting with that and then bringing on Jesus for a defender early in the second half if things aren’t going right. We’d then have Sane, Jesus, Aguero, Sterling all on at the same time. Think this would be more effective than starting with those 4 of subbing on Sterling for example.

we might. walker played quite well in a back 3 for england. i think we should just go for it. its risky, but we dont have a choice. id rather ply stones and laporte because they are betters passers and the others are out of form as well.
 
I hate the notion that Peps selection yesterday was somehow responsible for our failure to win. That 1st half vindicated his selection. The use of a false nine caused absolute havoc, the rags didn't know who to mark. Raheem was incredible bar the two sitters. The only ones to blame are the players, in particular Sterling, Gundogan, Kompany and Otamendi. BUT. we win as a team and we lose as a team. Come on city

I think I’d rather see a 3-6-1/3-2-4-1 formation with Bernardo & maybe even Gundogan in the side.

I'll be honest I haven't got a bloody clue how this is going to go

I've given up trying to second guess Pep.

Since Wednesday I've seen the following:

City v Liverpool. LOST
City EDS v West Ham EDS LOST
City v United Inexplicably LOST
My sons Under 15s Cup Final LOST

I can't take a 5th defeat on the bounce it will be like the 90s all over again
