I find it strange you only want to discuss Vinnys tackle, yet feel the need to site a hypothetical van dijk on sergio tackle that didn't happen ?

The important bit is that Vinny was booked, that was what the referee on the night deemed it, anything else is bollocks, had he given a red, anything else would also be bollocks ;-)

Far too much tedious discussion on something that didn't happen (red card), rather than a lot (very good) that did happen.

The important bit is that some did not even think it was a foul in the first place which is was ridiculous. Most will accept it was a foul against which the ref was well within his rights to issue a red. If you dont agree, thats fine, but to not even think it was a foul is simply blue tinted specs at its finest.

You and everyone on here knows that had we been on the receiving end of such a tackle, then there wouldn't be any saying "oh, it was a yellow at worst, if indeed a foul"
