Both teams had their moments of luck tonight. In the end we took our chances and they didn’t. We closed everything down very quickly and even when they had the ball didn’t do a lot with it. Sterling should have had a pen but to be fair Taylor had a decent game overall.

Haha, Sky showing ‘PL Greatest Games’ - the 1-4 defeat from the dippers......shower of pricks. that’ll still not cheer those scouse twats up.

The lack of a MotM was an oversight, surely?

Great that we have a nice run of games now where we should be able to focus fully on Wolves (they are due a pumping for stealing a draw) and Huddersfield, the cup games should take care of themselves. Good opportunity to hopefully get most of the squad back up to full fitness, and form. Exciting times to be a blue.

Looking forward to all the complaints about Kompany from Liverpool supporters that thought it was a travesty that Mane got sent off last season.

That's what it's been for the past 5 games. Last season they got lucky and things went their way. This year some big things went our way and we took our chance at home and let them off at Anfield.

sorry no, Liverpool are a top side, what happened tonight was we gave a fantastic performance which stopped them playing there way, pressed them continually to prevent them playing from the back, and closed down in a mob whenever they tried to break. We played exceptionally well tonight

Liverpool resorted to lumping it long the longer the game went on... so reliant on the pace of their front 3
