Our team is split in two - those that are balling and those that are playing wank. We really need our big attacking players players to get going after the break because our defence is legit top.

Jesus, Gundo, Cancelo, Dias, Laporte were class. The rest terrible.

Our defence stood up against the ultimate test and I thought they were brilliant.

Missed opportunities pen & Jesus have to be goals, they go in we're having a different conversation.

Better than I expected as I can't say the lineup filled me with confidence.

Definitely more important not to lose than to win at this stage but you really have to hit the target from the spot. All in all, City still moving in the right direction.

Thought City were marginally the better side over the whole game.

Pardon? I’m not even a doom and gloomer. But the pecking order is blatantly obvious this season; De Bruyne Rodri Gundogan is our first choice midfield 3. That’s not changing. Foden and Bernardo will continue to be on the periphery and when we keep playing this shite, the subs will still be made on the 65th minute. There’s only one direction we’re moving in, and it’s going to result in us all joining Pep in the bald club this season.

Usual boring performance. Again we all called it prior with him picking the slowest midfield duo in the world against one of the best pressing team. If I was an opposition player I would love playing against this limp city team.
Useless as ever up front also, just saw highlights of FA cup games with 8th tier teams putting away penalty after penalty in shoot outs yet we have players who cannot even hit the target.
Personally think Peps tactics are now outdated, it’s all about pace and power now where we are technical But slow as fuck. We have not bought well for a number of years and this team is top 6 quality only, it would not surprise me if we did not get top 4.
his passion has gone, wrong team selections and baffling use of subs.
Draw not the end of the world but Spurs away next and could be even further away from the top.

Game of 2 penalties.
95 times out of 100, either KDB or Jesus (or both) would have planted it in the back of the net.

Liverpool started playing for a draw as soon as they scored ... took an age over every throw-in, etc.

That said, by the end they had no VVD, Fabinho or TAA ... so it feels like a chance wasted.

Mane and Salah are divers - so frustrating to see them collapse like a sack of potatoes time after time.

After the first 20 minutes I`d have taken a point.Not the best game nor did we play well,but against the Dippers thats not a bad result overall.

Nothing disasterous ... apart from the performance.

Which imo is 100x better than his previous "we're too good to get beat so I'm not changing anything".

That is a fair point. When you look at it that way then he has done his job, just the subs that annoys me like fuck.

Another game where Pep was one of our worst performers. The opening 20 mins told you he got it completely wrong and we were lucky to still be in the game. Then second half when Liverpool obviously tired he didn’t react.

He basically got the square route of fuck all right again. Pretty much the story of our season so far. L We have played 7 games in the league and won 3.

Before anyone pipes up.. Yes, I understand teams are not at peak fitness and are risking muscle injuries due to the congested fixture list but all the more reason to actually use your bench. Especially when the team you are playing have clearly runout of steam. Are frail at the back and are your closest rivals and in front of you in the league.

Agree. With the back 4 more reliable we should be able to be more positive in midfield than a Rodri / gundo pair. I actually like them both as players but when they both start it’s painful

Draw not the worst result in the world, but second half the Dippers conceding possession very easily and hardly threatened. Unfortunately going forward we are nowhere near our best and apart from the Jesus chance we didn't create much.

KDB was poor and looks laboured and needs a rest. Cancelo was excellent and was my MOTM.
