how is it on pep when our players do not finish chances? We should have been up 3-1 easy... can’t blame pep for that.We are playing like a side looking to secure a top 6 finish.
And it is on Pep.
We should have beat them today.

New midfielder needed. Pep won’t play foden or Bernie in that role so we need to replace Gundo. Each week we see the same problems. If he won’t play either of the 2 players mentioned a new cm is badly needed now.
How many times did he give them a free kick for nothing when in difficult areas. Pissed me right off and penalty aside he gave them absolutely everything.I know he gave us a penalty but the ref was fuckin shocking
Agree liverpool wanted us to come onto them so they could play their counter attacking game. We didnt allow them to play their game, we tried to get them to come out and they didnt. We allowed them time on the ball and they looked a little losted. Another day and we would have got a winner, but if we had lost that would have been alot worse than this draw.Lot of exaggeration on here. We go for it and they likely break and score like they have done to us before.
media narrative seems to be they were “robbed” by the handball decision. Notwithstanding the fact it was a handball all day long under the old rules, the penalty was missed and had no bearing on the game whatsoever.
No mention by Tyler of that world class tackle by Cancelo.
Thank fool for some common sense . Can’t stand going to match day threads or Post match. Spoilt b**tards brigade!.People were taking about evolution, he’s doing that and rebuilding, starting like any top manager would, from the back...
it is a top class left back away from being as good as anything in Europe... we’ve genuinely just been spoilt with our attacking exploits over the last 3 years, he’s tweaking it to counter how teams invariably gain success against us.....
Any good manager, be it in McDonald’s or transferable to sport, reacts to a cause of lack of productivity, yet he’s being hammered for evolving... this is 2017 all over again, he’s laying the foundation for the long game!
HmmmI really really think Sterling (and Mahrez) should be benched the next game. I hope Pep make sure they know this is unacceptable. They both are too wasteful. We’re supposed to be one of the best teams in the world. This is kids playing, getting a brainfreeze every goddamn time.
I’m so sick of seeing him wasting big chances, week in and week out. When will it stop?
The club can’t possibly be serious about handing him 3-400k a week. He is nowhere near close enough to deserve that. That’s basically the club saying ”keep going Sterling, it’s OK you’re wasting 3-4 chances every game. From time to time, you score.”
not just the match thread, bluemoon is littered with people talking absolute shite, but nowadays it seems bluemoon is all about quantity rather than qualityWe are definitely not at our best as yet this season and some decisions by Pep seem to have little reasoning at times, but apart from the first 20 or so minutes we controlled the game and on another day would of won quite easily (missed penalty aside), we will hit form at some point this season, have a feeling it will coincide with KDB hitting form.
Anyhow, something has to be done about the match day forum, absolutely infested with fùckwits and an embarrassment, and from actual City fans, everyone is entitled to their opinion of course but many post the same abject bollocks week after week, no matter if we are winning or losing, honestly can’t see the point in it.
FFS!but my issue is with sterling . He should not be in the team because that today us one of the worst performances by a city player I’ve seen .
If Pep performed better the penalty miss could have been a total irrelevance to the result.
Good news: we seem to have built a reliable back-four now.
Bad news: I never thought I'd say this about a Pep team, but we need that defence, because the energy levels going forward have really dropped.
Nah we're not relevant enough. The second they think we're out of it they'll ignore us. The media will be hammering home how crap we are and I think other teams will buy it, especially after how we started the season.Unfortunately that doesn't apply to us.
It's regarded as a moral victory to the other 19 teams in the league when they take points off us.
Teams turn up when they play us regardless of our position in the league.
The broadcasting media will give us far more shit for being in the bottom half of the league than they will our inferior neighbours the rags.
We miss Sane. Maybe we need another attacking midfielder with lots of pace and flair. We do look quite pedestrian at times. I still believe City won’t be far away at the end of the season. I can’t help thinking Messi in January could transform the squad. He was a sub yesterday and came on to win the game for Barca!
Maybe I am dreaming lol.
