Milner reckons the current Liverpool side is the best he's played in.

Also reckons it's better than the team he won two titles with at City.

What a bitter, pathetic individual he is. Utterly preposterous comments.

I'm sure Liverpool fans will lap that shit up.

Moronic comments for equally moronic fans at a truly grotesque club.
Time to stop clapping the twat, give him what the dippers give raz

I was really disappointed in Sterling when we played them at Klanfield, he got out-done by Milner on a number of occasions and seems to lose his head against them. He needs to concentrate on turning Milner round with runs in behind, rather than trying to take him on, isolate him and then come in from right to centre.

I thought Fern was quite poor against Monaco as the pivot so i'd bring Yaya in and possibly push Fern out to right back with Sagna to leftback. Other than that, same team with Pep telling them to prove themselves again as the season is nearly ruined and some of your City careers are on the line.

In fairness, he's the captain (?) while Henderson's out, so he's probably trying to get some belief into his players. I'm doubtful he believes it for 1 minute.

Did you read what he actually said? Nothing wrong with it and doesnt come across as bitter or pathetic at all

“I’ve been very fortunate to play in a lot of good teams, with a lot of good players,” said Milner.

“Obviously winning a couple of titles at City, we had some very good players, but as a team this is probably up there as the best team I’ve played in.

“The Man City team were obviously a top side, and arguably had more standout individual players.

“We’ve got a lot of good players at Liverpool too, but I think as a team we play a different style, everyone works together and we need to do that the way we play.

“It’s two completely different teams and styles of play, but two fantastic teams.”
“David Silva is incredible, he always gets the weight of pass right, Raheem (Sterling) has gone and done really well, and obviously Sergio (Aguero) is so sharp around the box.

“They’ve got a lot of top players to stop, but we’ve got a good record against them, we’ll set up the way the manager wants, we’ll set up in training this week, look at their weaknesses and hopefully exploit them.”

It's not though is it. Nowhere near the best team he's played in. Complete bollocks.

Milner's quotes leave out one glaringly obvious fact. When we put out our best 11s in 11-12 and 13-14 Milner was always on the bench. For Liverpool he starts every match. Of course he thinks this team is the best, he's their leftback!

Its not that Moronic when you read the full story is it!

Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge have "no chance" of facing City on Sunday, Jürgen Klopp says. Roberto Firmino "could be an option".

We're going to absolutely wipe the floor with these on Sunday. They'll be a serious reaction, and don't back against Sterling and De Bruyne both scoring.

Caballero
Zaba Stones Kolarov Dinho
KDB Yaya Silva
Sterling Aguero Sane.

4-1 City.

Pep: I’m so happy with the squad, the speculation is normal when you’re out of the completion, it happens everywhere not just the PL.

Pep: Lessons can be learned, that’s pretty sure... For a lot of my players it’s the first time they’ve played in this competition.

Pep: Most of the goals we conceded were our mistake, its happened many time this season and hopefully it will happen less next season

Pep: We can’t play the way we did in the first 45 minutes, that’s why we are out. But over the two legs, I am very happy.

Pep: We have to improve and we are going to try to be more stable in the next season. There is a big gap to improve

Manchester City could recall Yaya Toure and Nicolas Otamendi, both of whom dropped to the bench in Wednesday's defeat by Monaco.

City remain without long-term absentees Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan.

Liverpool will assess forward Roberto Firmino, who missed last weekend's win against Burnley with a minor injury.

Dejan Lovren, who has been nursing a knee problem, played for the under-23 side on Monday and is fit to make his first senior appearance since January.

Divock Origi is doubtful because of a knock and illness, while injured duo Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge will again miss out.

Yeah he's correct, first half killed us in that game, it was like walking football from us. But time to move on no point crying it's over and we must learn .
We will beat the dippers 3-1 hope for. Sterling hat trick to shut them up , but one will do with kun and sane the other two

Love the irrationality - I mean optimism.

You've been on quite a spree of drive-by shitposting when anyone happens to say anything even approaching positivity, I see.

Feeling more and more confident coming up to this game. We usually but in a big performance after a big let down. 4-3 City

I think we'll see a positive response. I don't know if we'll win, but I'd be surprised if we don't put in a shift from the first whistle.

Willy
Zaba Otamendi Stones Dinho
Yaya
Sterling KDB Silva Sane
Aguero

I'd be tempted to say Dinho and KDB should be dropped due to a few poor performances in a row, but realistically there are no replacements in the squad and we just have to hope they fall back into form again.

Have you considered that it is probably as simple as him not actually being fully fit?
Er of course I've considered it - I'm not 12 mate. But Pep said he's fit a few weeks back. Pep's now saying he's fit but dare not play him in case he gets injured again. How long does that go on for?

Is this a joke?

I just think we looked abit tired - with Nolito, Yaya & Delph or Fernando - We keep Scousers from countering us like Monaco - then as soon a they start getting tired - get Sane & KDB on

I love Sane - but he does not track back enough and does let players get past him. the scousers are going to be all out pressing and energy for the first 30-40 mins - we need to hold firm
