He played Sterling and Silva along with KDB for the FA cup tie and one could see the large number of chances created compared to one against Stoke. It came down to what does he prioritize FA cup or PL - I think he should have given the best eleven against Stoke. 8 points behind with our game against Chelsea would mean at least making the deficit 5 was in our hands, that is if he really believed and wanted to go for it but he gave up too early in my thinking.I keep reading this but only Sterling was left out for a much inferior player in Navas, Silva was replaced by KDB, the fact him and Fern were poor on the night doesn't mean we played a weakened team, in fact if we've got to rely on Silva every time we play the likes of Stoke we may as well replace the whole bloody lot of them.
Sterling had been poor the game before, Sunderland and wasn't great last night either so you can't blame Pep for leaving him out.
