You have to play Sterling.

Can't remember a good game that Sterling has had against the dippers, but i suppose you can't bench him either? For some mad reason he seems to have a mental breakdown against them, maybe its simply the booing (but he gets booed everywhere) or maybe he just can't get over the barrier of how he left. Either way i think we should start to help him by cheering him as loud as possible every time he touches the ball, going over the boo's.

Its like black shed said weve got to pick up all these loose balls and bad passes, thats where a lot of their goals come from, they pick them up then they attack at pace. Weve got to be first in there get control of the ball then hit them on the brake

I suspect Milner will be back in for Fabinho tonight.

Sane has been the 1 player Van Dijk has struggled with in the past 12 months, smoked him in pre-season to score and won a penalty at their place. Have to try and exploit that.

Suspect Bernardo will start for KDB though.

If it’s 10 so what everyone expects them to walk it then so no pressure

Hopefully our attackers press Allison every time he gets it. Not as good as people think he is on the ball, and if an attacker is anywhere near him, he tends to hoof it. We can win these balls all day...

No idea how this game will go tho. Just hope we don't miss 8 sitters in the first 20mins, then concede their first attack... Need to be totally ruthless!

The reality is that this is the hardest game Liverpool will probably face all season long including the CL, Manchester City away is a tough match for every team in the world right now and I doubt other than Liverpool fans based in Asia any fans from any teams would have this fixture down as an away win.
The Leftback situation gives them a positive but not the game.
