I don't really care that much tbh, it's a nothing match. Genuinely cannot remember who won last years Community Shield - it's 6 days of dick swinging and then the real stuff starts.

But because it's them, fuck em.

Wether we win or loose this game, it has no bearing on the season what so ever, and already we are putting pressure on Haaland, we assume he will hit the ground running, well what if he doesn't? Their is no guarantee, Alvarez again no guarantee, we have just lost 3 very experienced premier league players, and replaced with 2 unproven and 1 who played 1 season with Leeds in the prem

Though that is true, the players we let go were no longer main players in the team, and the ones we have bought have potentially higher ceilings. It is a season to be excited to see what will emerge: old players, new players, young talent and new formations.
